Lee Perry Dubs The Wailers Vol-I

Lee Perry & The Wailers, 2 of the premier reggae artists/bands ever to leave JA, in the late 1960′s & early 70′s ska was in decline & a new sound was king, Lee Perry had left Joe Gibb’s Amalgamated label in a blaze of fury & then had his Upsetters ‘stolen’ by Bob Marley, Marley needed a new direction for his Wailers & Scratch was the answer. Recorded mostly at Randys studio, Scratches influence is marked across every one of these tunes.
